On February 7, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Ed Markey released the Green New Deal resolution. For the next four days, Fox News aired more than triple the number of segments that MSNBC and CNN did about the Green New Deal.  

Even though Fox dominated Green New Deal coverage, less than half of Fox’s segments mentioned climate change. When Fox figures did bring up climate change, they often downplayed the issue. 

By contrast, MSNBC discussed climate change in five of its eight segments, and CNN discussed it in two of its three segments.
