Theater curtain for “Parade” (1917)
An avant garde ballet/play that was a joint project of Jean Cocteau, Erik Satie, Léonide Massine, Serge Diaghilev and Picasso.
It mesures 17 x 10 meters and is Picasso’s largest (not his greatest) work of art. Was shown in the Capodimonte Museum in Naples in 2017.
