Fox News has responded to the recent state measures protecting abortion access with a barrage of inaccurate and sensationalized coverage. With over six and a half hours of coverage in the days before Trump’s State of the Union address, the network’s misinformation about the realities of legal and medically necessary abortions later in pregnancy made it into Trump’s speech.

Given Trump’s reliance on Fox News for his talking points and policy proposals, the consequences of the network broadcasting misinformation cannot be overstated.
