The injunction deadline to remove the gate at Unist'ot'en camp is quickly approaching. With the injunction going into effect, the Unist'ot'en and their allies will be facing mounting legal fees in order to protect the territory. The news of the injunction is difficult to bear, but this fight is not over. The camp has been a beacon of resistance for nearly 10 years. It is a healing space, for indigenous people and settlers alike, an active example of decolonization, steadfast in its refusal to let fossil fuel infrastructure be built across the land.
