They Live’s original motion picture soundtrack will be reissued on vinyl on January 30 via Death Waltz. The score is composed by John Carpenter (Halloween, Escape from New York) in association with frequent collaborator Alan Howarth.
The album has been remastered by Howarth and is pressed on 180-gram vinyl with two color variants: “Annihilation of Consciousness” (black and white swirl) vinyl and “Formaldehyde Face” (reverse purple and blue splatter) vinyl.
The record is housed in a gatefold jacket designed by Alan Hynes, which features disc sleeves that reveal hidden messages when removed from the sunglasses slip case. It will cost $35.
