The new Hellboy poster is legendary AF. Originally due out in January, the film will now open on April 12 via Lionsgate. Judging by the poster, it’s safe to say the
R-rated reboot
will be considerably darker than the previous incarnation.
Based on the popular comic series of the same name, Hellboy is directed by Neil Marshall (The Descent). Aron Coleite (Heroes), Andrew Cosby (Eureka), Christopher Golden, and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola worked on the script.
Stranger Things’ David Harbour stars in the titular role. Ian McShane, Milla Jovovich, Sasha Lane, Penelope Mitchell, Daniel Dae Kim, Sophie Okonedo, Brian Gleeson, and Alistair Petrie round out the cast.
