The MPAA wanted to impose an X rating, if #GeorgeARomero didn’t make cuts. Romero did not want to cut the film and he was against an X rating, due to its stigma of hard-core pornography. Romero ultimately persuaded distributors to release the #horror film without a rating. However, distributors also released disclaimers, which stated the film was extremely violent and no one under 17 would be admitted. #zombies
