The Lizard Man of Scape Ore Swamp is a cryptid said to inhabit the swampland around Lee County, South Carolina. It is described as roughly seven feet tall, covered in dark green scales.
Since the first sighting in 1988, there have been numerous reported encounters with the Lizard Man. It is known to be very aggressive, with a couple in the village of Browntown reporting that the creature had torn their car apart. Most recently, in 2015, a photo and short video of the Lizard Man were shared by two different people.
