RIP Umberto Lenzi
Another horror director is lost in the wake of 2017.
While not as influential as George Romero or Tobe Hooper, Lenzi was a prolific director of Italian exploitation horror. His most noteworthy titles include Cannibal Ferox (aka Make Them Die Slowly) (1981), Eyeball (1975), City of the Walking Dead (aka Nightmare City) (1980), Eaten Alive! (1980), Ghosthouse (1988), Seven Blood-Stained Orchids (1972), and Black Demons (1991).
