While not my favorite horror franchise, the Friday the 13th series is one I’m quite fond of. The original set the standard for slasher flicks, and the sequels added on “the rules” by which other films in the genre should follow. Jason Voorhees, like Freddy Krueger, is a world-known character in pop culture. The later part of the series was a bit… er… out there, but is still enjoyable in its own way. Overall, this series is very memorable and is enjoyed by people from all generations.
