Ok, so I know the pitfalls of capitalism and such. You mention that under socialism, the resources and labor would be democratized. Can you explain that in more detail? Its a little difficult to for me to understand how society would say own the labor of service employees or the food grown on the farms.

There’s certainly room for different societies arriving at different conclusions and setups, but this video gives a broad overview of what a post-capitalist democracy could entail. The key here is that we’re trying to abolish top-down ownership and management of the utilities we need to survive, and economic democracy in various forms has been the proposed antidote since the mid-1800s.
