Why does this exist?

It exists because there was a massive Satanic panic in the 80s where good white wholesome Christian families were terrified of their values deteriorating, so they started to believe there were underground Satanic pedophile death cults. of course there weren’t any, so anything that even remotely looked “occult” became suspicious and “evidence” of a Satanic cult. Faux “experts” really cashed in by giving bogus seminars and making garbage video tapes and books.
