But the truth is that Trump is a failure economically, both in his business career and in his actions as president. It is time to connect the dots of Trump’s economic failures—in a way that everyone understands.
Nothing is free; if you desire a healthy and functioning society, be it the costs of the military industrial complex, or roads and public schools, etc., it’s all tax money. It’s about how it’s spent that’s important. Taxes should be used to pay for services taxpayers use like, education, health care, energy, the CDC, the FDA, HHS, the EPA, roads and infrastructure, etc., not endless and pointless wars. The problem with a lot of Republican leaning voters is that they like all this so-called “free stuff,” they just don’t want to pay for it. They are motivated by the two “Santa Claus” theory(look it up) developed by Republican think-tanks to attract voters. The Democrats want to spend money and pay for it by taxes. The Republicans want to spend money and keep borrowing to pay for the debt. Very clever, but we got you. Just remember that the ulterior motive of every Republican proposal is the further enrichment of the multi-millionaire and billionaire class.
Exactly! TYPICAL Republican action, take from the poor, give to the wealthy. It continues today; and just like in 1984, those with the least continue to believe the lies told to them by Republicans. That’s called the “renowned Republican brand.” Many love it, and many love trickle-down; even though, it makes them poorer.
I think these Republican voters are more motivated by racism and religious myth than by economics. As long as they have someone to feel superior to, they are happy with their lot. It’s a mental health issue to sacrifice one’s material well-being for the sake of pseudoscientific racism. It is also stupid. It is also stupid to think that rich people deserve your respect and humility; they are not gods. They are just mortal human beings with the same mortality and flaws like the rest of us, no different. The rich have been brainwashing stupid authoritarian people in this country with this nonsense of subservience and negatively branding socialism (with lies) since the founding of this nation and onwards.
Americans love to idolize the rich and famous, athletes, and entertainers; hence they vote for Trump and Reagan. Very low-IQ. I think this deification of the rich and famous causes people to vote against their economic self-interests; also, these stupid people think they will be in that “Club” very soon, so, they support trickle-down. If I had my way, those billionaires, that entertainment crowd, and all of those rich athletes, would be kicked to the curb. It’s obscene, the income disparity in this country. It’s obscene that someone should be personally worth 120 billion dollars when the minimum wage is still $7.25 an hour. You can thank all the ignorant rednecks that vote Republican. They love misery and so should you. Why are we still in this economic mess? Ans. You can thank the moronic and imbecilic haters that have voted Republican for the last fifty years.
In the documentary, How to Survive a Plague they mention this very fact. Reagan was the president during this time and do you know what he did when the LGBTQ community begged him for help? He fucking laughed at us. His administration CELEBRATED that finally, ‘God’s judgement in the form of a plague’ was striking down queer people. They saw it as a form of divine population control. Reagan could have given a rats ass about us…
Until the plague began to effect straight people. THEN his administration cared. Because the people that mattered were finally getting sick. And finally the millions of dollars in research money was poured into finding a treatment for HIV. But by then, so many LGBTQ individuals had died. More people died from the initial HIV epidemic than the Vietnam war.
So when straight people complain about being ‘oppressed’ and why there isn’t a straight pride parade? Go fuck yourself. No one has ever tried to wipe you out through a plague, ignored your cries for help as a disease wiped out massive amounts of your community.
