Mini Pyramid Tomb at Deir el-Medina
The workers village on West Thebes which was the home of the artists, craftsmen, and workers who built, and ornamented the royal and private tombs in the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens during the 18th to 20th dynasties of the New Kingdom of Egypt (ca. 1550-1070 BC).
The settlement’s ancient name was Set ma’at “The Place of Truth”, and the workmen who lived there were called “Servants in the Place of Truth”.
