Sneak peaks of the two Godzilla vs. Kong graphic novel tie-ins from Legendary Comics, from a just-uploaded WonderCon panel. Neither has a title yet. The Godzilla-centric one is written by Greg Keyes (Godzilla: King of the Monsters novelization) and illustrated by Drew Johnson (Godzilla: Aftershock). No plot details to speak of, except that Scylla will return. The Kong-centric one is written by Marie Anello (“Fifteen Minutes or Less” in the Shout Out anthology) and illustrated by Zid (Skull Island: The Birth of Kong). Main character is an F-35 pilot who looks to be clashing with Camazotz. Icarus Tigris, a beastie cut from Kong: Skull Island, will show up, along with Houston Brooks.
Legendary Comics is also going to picture its first picture book. It’s about Kong, illustrated by Nidhi Chanani (Pashmina), and written by Kiki Thorpe (The Never Girls). No art to show, as they just signed their contracts.
