Padstow, Cornwall, England.

Padstow was already a bustling little port of fishermen and boat-builders in the time of Elizabeth I, and it was during the 16th and 17th centuries that Padstow’s mining and quarrying industry in the area established Padstow as a major port town.
Tourism arrived in Padstow with the railway in 1899, with the  Atlantic Express train running a regular service between London and Padstow. Since then the town has never looked back.

If you’re ever feeling like the quarantine isn’t worth it, or feel like we should re-open the country before we have reliable testing available… use this comic to help put things into perspective.

Oh my f-

This is also a really good reminder that if you’re feeling traumatized by quarantine even though nothing is happening to you personally, there is a reason.

As of August 26, 2020 we’ve lost 179,708.

“Hey so it turns out that the people of earth accidentally did a global experiment to see if every individual could course correct climate change through mass personal change of habits, and it turns out, no! We can’t! It was massive corporate activity all along!”

Edwin Smith Papyrus

This papyrus is the world’s oldest surviving surgical text. It was written in Egyptian Hieratic script around the 17th century BC, probably based on material from a thousand years earlier.

The papyrus is a surgical textbook describing 48 cases dealing with wounds and trauma. American archaeologist Edwin Smith discovered the papyrus in Egypt in the 1860s. It is now in the New York Academy of Medicine.

Margot and Cathy were saying “Actually, we want to be able to touch him and kind of really interact with him.” because they wanted to build a relationship. It would begin by tracking in the CG model that they would have already created so that his movements matched the movements of our stand in German Shepherd. That was really important for us to get the performance from the real animal.
