Trump is not what he says he is about everything. The whole operation is a scam to launder money and avoid taxes. His appearance should tell you a lot.
Investigator John Trent is hired to find Sutter Cane, a horror story writer, who, after finishing his last book, mysteriously disappears. Even though he suspects that this is just a publicity stunt, he accepts the job. Trent starts reading the books, looking for clues as to where Cane might be hiding, but the books are macabre and, after reading, people act in a strange way.
