It is impossible to live a pleasant life without living wisely and well and justly, and it is impossible to live wisely and well and justly without living pleasantly.

This little town is about to be the target of his burning rage. Tonight he will feast!

this is possibly one of my favorite pieces of medieval art for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to:
- the fact that this depicts the conception of alexander the great (yes, that alexander the great)
- the fact that in the story this comes from (one of the alexander romances) alexander’s dad is actually a dude disguised as a dragon
- olympias getting her netflix and chill on with a fucking dragon
- the dragon’s gentle embrace
- the fact that the dragon and olympias are both all snuggled up under the covers
- olympias’s Perfectly Perky Teeny Tiny Titties™
- the fact that olympias apparently wears her crown while getting it on
- the guy looking in on this whole scene, who is philip II of macedon btw
- philip II of macedon making eye contact with the guy cucking him, who, as i mentioned earlier, IS A FUCKING DRAGON
Upon my word, I think the truth is the hardest missile one can be pelted with.
