December 12, 2020 - Angry workers at a Wistron Infocomm facility manufacturing Apple iPhones in Narasapura, India, destroyed the offices of the factory after not being paid their promised wages. On this day, 15 December 1897 Scottish mill worker and socialist Mary Brooksbank was born in Aberdeen. Moving to Dundee, she founded the Working Women Guild to fight for better health and social services, and was active in organising women workers on the railways.
