Police made two demonstrations violent by charging, injuring, and arresting people at protests for police accountability and workers striking for a $1/hr pay increase. Over 30 people were arrested at the two actions, double the number of arrests of white supremacists who stormed the Capitol in DC.
The Teamster workers arrested have since all been released and are striking again.
NYPD PBA tweeted this the same day they beat and arrested people demonstrating for Black lives and for higher pay.
huh this seems significant. also worth noting that white supremacists and nationalists have been talking about a patriot party for a while, which got more acknowlged after the capitol. so maybe some of trumps staff told him about it
to all the people in the notes talking about this as a good thing. its really not. dont be incredibly short sighted and celebrate because you think a far-right third party will never be popular. research the far right and the history of fascism, because the existence of a new party that is explicitly nationalist and formed to oppose the other established parties for being corrupt and ineffective points to the possibility for a real organized fascist movement to develop. please fucking think about this in the long term. it might seem ridiculous now but so much of what would have “seemed ridiculous” years ago is now normal because the political conditions have changed so drastically. do you really think anything is going to stop

Diogenes also attended many of Plato’s lessons, not because he was interested or even to debate him but he would bring food with him and purposefully eat obnoxiously loud
