Because George W dipped into social security to pay for the Iraq war, there will be a shortfall in 2034. Instead of making the people whole with military monies or something, Joe “Austerity” Biden is planning to raise taxes on the middle class, raise the age one can get full social security payouts (and cut people who claim it earlier to lower amounts for the rest of their life), and change the basis of payouts from the more stable Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) based on inflation and GDP to an unstable monthly Consumer Price Index based on national average prices on typically consumed goods meaning seniors will not have a steady static income, but social security payouts that go up and down from month to month.
