Radio Blue Heart is on the air!
When someone utters the word “iron” or “silver,” don’t we all think of the same thing? … But what happens when we say “just” or “good”? Doesn’t each one of us go in a different direction? Don’t we differ with one another and even with ourselves?

Can my partner safely use a glove or a finger cot as a condom if it fits?

Someone asked us:

If he used a glove as a condom but also pulled out before cumming do u think it was safe? As I am worried

People with smaller penises, some trans men, and some people who are intersex may prefer to use a latex or plastic glove or finger cot as a safe alternative to using a condom. That’s because for some people, condoms might be too loose to stay on during vaginal or anal sex.

If you do decide to use a glove as a condom, you can cut the glove from the base to the bottom of the pinky. Then cut the fingers off, leaving the thumb and the fist. Open it up, and you’ve got a wide barrier with a pouch in the middle to place over your genitals.

Wearing a condom is the best way to protect you and your partner from STIs and pregnancy. You can get condoms from drugstores, Planned Parenthood health centers, community health centers, doctor’s offices, supermarkets, convenience stores, online, and even from vending machines. You don’t need a prescription and there are no age restrictions.

Want even more protection from pregnancy? Check out more birth control options, or take this quiz to find the birth control method that’s best for you.
