Amazon Workers Consider Unionizing at Several More U.S. Sites
Inspired by the high-profile campaign to unionize an Amazon.com Inc. fulfillment center in Alabama, workers in Baltimore, New Orleans, Portland, Denver and Southern California have begun exploring ways to form unions at their own Amazon facilities. The Retail Wholesale and Department Store Union, which is leading the drive in Bessemer, Alabama, says it has heard from 1,000 Amazon workers around the country.
This would plunge us into literal fucking war. This court is generally not pro-cop, in keeping with a very long American conservative history of being opposed to and skeptical of police power, so I’m positive this won’t be happening, but I think this administration genuinely thinks this country isn’t a very very dry powder keg right now. There are millions of people waiting for an excuse to start shooting and I think this administration really seems to not know that’s the case which is honestly embarrassing for them.
