If a few years later you were caught on-video bragging about using a company car to run over anti-racist protestors, do you think you’d still get to keep your job?
No? Well, I guess you’re not Sargeant Clifton McHale of the Boston Police Department! He wasn’t even demoted after doing both of those things.
Sgt. Clifton McHale of the Boston Police Department - who was previously suspended after being accused of raping a drunk woman in a police car while in uniform - brags on-camera about running over anti-racist protestors and is still on-duty.
VICTORY! Some Saint Paul union members found out today that the St Paul Labor Center building was being used as a staging ground for the National Guard while they occupy the Twin Cities in the aftermath of the police murder of Daunte Wright.
Tonight a couple dozen rank and file union members gathered here on like an hour notice after online discussion to demand that the National Guard be removed from the hall. And within an hour or so, the victory was won, and the Guard was asked to leave, and they drove away in their dozen or so military vehicles.
It’s not very often we win victories this quickly but it happened in this case when people who care mobilized quickly.
