Cooking experiment success! I found some Chinese Kam Yen Jam Lap-Xuong sausage at Costco, and looked up how to make it. The quickest (easiest!) way is to steam it with rice in the rice cooker, so the rice absorbs all the juice & fat from the sausage. I steamed the sausages whole, then sliced them up after everything was cooked. So delicious! I’ve been in such an art block I wanted to do something more loose and fun. So I made the sketch digitally and printed it out to trace over. The pencil version didn’t feel quite right but then I found an old charcoal stick and just rolled with it.
