Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) argued on Tuesday that it is unfair to imprison people who took part in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol since prisoners in Afghanistan were released when the Taliban took over the country.
Greene made the remarks while appearing on Real America’s Voice with host Steve Bannon.
“There were 5,000 terrorist prisoners released from a camp. Set free,” Greene said before comparing the Afghan prisoners to people who attacked the U.S. Capitol.
“Here are my thoughts,” she continued. “Here we have people being held in prison that were at the Capitol on Jan. 6. They’re being treated like political prisoners of war but yet we have President Biden and Kamala Harris – don’t forget her, hold her accountable – and this entire administration that allowed terrorists that will chop your head off, throw gay people off of buildings, that they will cover women in burkas and shove them in homes and treat them like slaves never to be seen from again.”
Margie Q, back from her week-long Twitter suspension, went on Real America’s Voice’s War Room: Pandemic with Stephen Bannon today. During her appearance with Bannon, she demanded the release of the January 6 Insurrectionists (aka “political prisoners”) in retaliation for the 5,000 Taliban prisoners released from camp by Trump.
The Transportation Security Administration will extend its US federal transportation mask mandate through January 18, according to a source familiar with the matter, who requested anonymity because the announcement has not been made public.
The mandate was set to expire on September 13.More than 2,867 incidents of passengers violating the federal mask mandate have been reported to the Federal Aviation Administration so far this year, the FAA said Tuesday.
A second source familiar with the matter confirms the transportation extension. This source says federal officials are holding a series of briefing calls, with airlines and some aviation unions.
The news agency Reuters first reported the mandate extension.
TSA said in a statement Tuesday it does “not yet have an announcement regarding face masks at this time.” The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention did not immediately respond to a CNN request for comment.
With the Delta Variant and potentially the Lambda Variant running rampant, the TSA is set to extend its mask mandate for public transportation until January 18th, 2022.
Another design is using 2 20x25x1 filters, taping them to the sides of the box fan and then to each other so they sort of make a triangle, then cutting cardboard to make a top and bottom to the triangle.
This was discovered as a more effective design during the 2020 US west coast fires.
