Not trying to be a buzz kill or anything, but if you see a bat on the sidewalk like this out during the day call animal control. Most likely it’s infected with rabies and is sick. Bats don’t generally carry rabies. Rabies messes with the part of their brain that uses echolocation, which is why it’s not flying. So please, help out the poor bat and call animal control or your nearest animal sanctuary.
