GM is recalling 70,000 chevy bolts… each chevy bolt battery contains 288 cells and weighs 947 lbs.

that’s about an entire coup worth of lithium.

the batteries would have expired in a few years anyway. they’re unrecyclable. such a shame that they lost like 4 whole years of use out of 70,000 batteries before they couldn’t be recycled anyway. what a pointless waste, for no other reason than our noble american manufacturing has no comptent quality control
