The Art of Titus Kaphar
Titus Kaphar was born in 1976 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He currently lives and works between New York and Connecticut, USA. His artworks interact with the history of art by appropriating its styles and mediums. Kaphar cuts, bends, sculpts and mixes the work of Classic and Renaissance painters, creating formal games and new tales between fiction and quotation.
I’ve actually seen some of his art up close. this is really cool
Also an incredibly nice, brilliant man. I got to spend a few days in his company once, and was in awe of his point of view.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of these games have since been expanded on into non-freeware games, but the developers have left the freeware versions online. There are also demo versions of bigger games, and one game that is classified as abandonware in the state it was left (i.e., the older version of White Day), thus leaving it free for anyone to play.
WARNING: Some of these games/sites contain jump scares, flashing lights, loud noises/music, blood and gore, and other mature content. I have not had the opportunity to see most of the new games, so I’m afraid I can’t give prior warning, so PLAYER DISCRETION IS ADVISED (and don’t be afraid to look up further info before jumping into a game).
