Re-Animator (1985)
The Evil Dead Groovy Collection will be released on November 16 via Lionsgate. The box set includes The Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2 on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and Digital, plus Ash vs. Evil Dead’s complete series on Blu-ray and Digital. (Army of Darkness is, sadly, not included.)
1981’s The Evil Dead marked the feature debut of writer-director Sam Raimi (Spider-Man). It stars Bruce Campbell, Ellen Sandweiss, Hal Delrich, Betsy Baker, and Theresa Tilly. 1987’s Evil Dead 2 is also directed by Raimi and stars Campbell with Sarah Berry, Dan Hicks, Kassie Wesley, and Richard Domeier.
Ash vs. Evil Dead aired on Starz for three seasons from 2015-2018. Campbell stars with Ray Santiago, Dana DeLorenzo, and Lucy Lawless. Raimi produced the series and directed the first episode.
