I know it’s kind of suggesting it but this is exactly why businessmen (people) should not be politicians. Running a country is to benefit the people running a business is to benefit shareholders. Their “skills” are not interchangeable
Framing the USPS as a poor business rather than a public service is propaganda.
And the reason they are struggling to be self supporting is not poor management, but the republicans having passed a bill under W. requiring them to fully fund pensions for people who aren’t even born yet. Name me one business that funds pensions seventy years in advance.

You know what other government agency spends more than it takes in? The National Park Service. Because the fees barely cover anything, the budget is not big enough, and they rely on donations. It’s a service. You pay into it for a benefit, like preserving natural landscapes or being able to send something anywhere in the US.

board meetings to “protest.” From verbal harassment and threats to
physical violence, it seems that every day these groups are encountering
some form of violence as they try to protect children in their district
from the deadly coronavirus.
Yet, instead of acknowledging the importance of stopping the
spread by wearing masks, some folk are set out to assault board members
under the guise of parental and human rights being violated. These
individuals are not only part of the districts they are harassing but
some are even from other states, joining meetings only to advance their
violent agenda. In a recent incident, a conservative commentator was so
desperate to attend a Virginia school board meeting about masks and
inclusivity policies for transgender students, he rented a place to stay
in the county in order to qualify as a resident. …
