International organization Amnesty International is allegedly joining Human Rights Watch and Israeli rights organization B'Tselem in accusing the Israeli State of engaging in apartheid based on its decades-long occupation of Palestinian lands and the treatment of its ethnic Arab minority. Israel is pushing back on these claims by imploring Amnesty International to not publish their most recent report on the state’s actions, calling their conclusions “false, biased and antisemitic”. Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian discuss on The Young Turks. Israel dismissed the other reports as biased, but is adopting a much more adversarial stance this time around. Foreign Minister Yair Lapid has said Israel expects intensified efforts this year to brand it as an apartheid state in international bodies and hopes to head them off.” *** The largest online progressive news show in the world. This is like that time I found out they used mashed potatoes to take product pictures of ice cream

I’m not super surprised, those commercials always look fake af

Wow you are dragging me back to my childhood when i found this out from the Consumer Reports magazine for kids

Note that (in the U.S., at least) whatever product is actually being advertised legally has to be real in the photos.  So if you were advertising a hot fudge sundae topping, the ice cream would be mashed potatoes and the topping would be real.  If you were advertising ice cream, the ice cream would have to be real but the fudge topping might be something like white glue mixed with acrylic paint.
