I never guessed that in my adulthood, I’d be relating to Calvin’s parents as much as I do in this comic.

Because damn … Calvin’s dad was so right.

This is part of an arc where their house got broken into and they have to deal with the ensuing fallout.

Calvin and Hobbes was some real shit, my dude.

Reading Calvin and Hobbes as an adult is a VERY different experience than reading it as a kid.

op this is good commentary but I’m mostly just captivated by how you drew the kid as a teeny little grub with a propeller hat

Art Adams provided the cover to Terror of Godzilla #1.

For those of you who don’t remember, Terror of Godzilla was Dark Horse Comics’ second printing of the manga adaptation of The Return of Godzilla (aka Godzilla 1985).  This time, however, all six issues were in color and sported covers by Adams.

As effective as this scene was in the original film (Godzilla was seen only for a moment in silhouette), I like this image even better.  It’s a lot scarier!

And please, Toho, when you start making Godzilla films again one of them has to be titled Terror of Godzilla!

Godzilla looking menacing as heck here O.O
