It would’ve been one thing if they were upfront about this, but hiding it means they can’t be trusted. Time to look for a new search engine. Any one know any other tracker-resistant search engines?
I looked into this because I use DuckDuckGo and I think it’s really important to keep organizations accountable especially when they claim to be different TM than shitty ones. So it looks like this is true (as of now) for the mobile browser application specifically, not the search engine in general.
which means that using the search engine on another browser like Firefox should be fine, and also now is a great time to let the company know exactly why you are uninstalling their *application* on your device to hopefully either force a backpedal or heavily discourage further shit like this down the line.

I was told we needed to keep voting for Democrats because they would oppose this bullshit. But this is about the third time I’ve seen a Democrat in power just roll over and let anti-trans legislation happen.
I knew it was coming though, we’ve always been acceptable losses.
As usual the democrats exhibit a pathetic lack of courage or leadership ability and yet continue to expect us to deliver votes when when they fail to acheive results.

The Black Panthers basically Invented school lunches. Schools started offering free lunch because the Black Panthers were providing food to kids who couldn’t have any at home.
As you can imagine schools and parents liked having fed kids. They put pressure on politicians to enforce it legally through officially funded means. And politicians who didn’t want the Black Panthers gaining support, did it.
And so free school lunches were born. No more hungry kids.
But now… They’ve done away with it.
And you should be nothing less than outraged. Why is your family’s stomach worth cutting out of the budget while police get increases? While the military gets increases?
Our kids still matter.
This isn’t just fucked up, it’s anti-black cuz guess who’s STILL one of the largest demographics utilizing that program since the Black Panther’s started doing it?
