The Heritage Foundation was created in 1973 by a former John Birch Society lecturer who campaigned for Alabama’s notorious George Wallace in both 1968 and 1976.

The Heritage Foundation employed, promoted, and ran interference for countless extremists, bigots, and lunatics over the years. They hired a neo-Nazi named Roger Pearson as an editor for their magazine in 1977.

Much of their funding came from the Koch Industries fortune, the same family that co-founded the John Birch Society decades earlier.

The many propagandists in their employ (euphemistically referred to as “senior fellows”) push the talking points which tobacco and oil interests ask of them.
