Youre telling me I threw away 10 dollar markers FOR NOTHING
REBLOG to save a life and a wallet!
Plus copics are actually refillable and you can buy more colored ink online for pretty cheap!
So yeah dont throw out copics.
NO NO NO NO!
Never refill a Copic with regular isopropyl alcohol unless you have absolutely no other option.
Copic markers have their own ink refills to go with each marker,
They look like this and cost around the same price as a Copic Sketch maybe slightly more however they can be used to refill a marker several times
By using isopropyl alcohol what you’re doing, in fact, is diluting what little ink you have left in your make, therefore changing the shade of it.
Of course the one exception to this rule is the colourless blender 0 which is a marker that is full of regular isopropyl alcohol.
As a side note, DON’T throw away your marker if one/both of the is damaged
Copic also make replacement nibs for all of their markers
Which are much cheaper than buying a new marker as you get multiple in a pack.
Reblogging to save an artist. Copics are meant to be reusable and I know how hella expensive those things are. NEVER throw out your Copic markers!
When people try to recommend new & *cheaper* marker brands to me, I just ask whether it’s refillable?
Because that is what makes Copics cheaper in the long run, in addition to their high quality blendable colors. I’m a happy user for 20+ years already \o/
But I still cry when I resupply the inks at the art store ToT
Protip for Malaysians: You can get Copic markers, the various inks, and nib replacements at Art Friend (Gardens Midvalley - The Curve Mutiara Damansara - Pavillion KL), and if you have membership (RM5 for two years) you get 10% percent off ALL purchases. If you invest in Copics, it adds up to quite a bit of savings.
They Live’s original motion picture soundtrack will be reissued on vinyl on January 30 via Death Waltz. The score is composed by John Carpenter (Halloween, Escape from New York) in association with frequent collaborator Alan Howarth.
The album has been remastered by Howarth and is pressed on 180-gram vinyl with two color variants: “Annihilation of Consciousness” (black and white swirl) vinyl and “Formaldehyde Face” (reverse purple and blue splatter) vinyl.
The record is housed in a gatefold jacket designed by Alan Hynes, which features disc sleeves that reveal hidden messages when removed from the sunglasses slip case. It will cost $35.
This blog is mostly so I can vent my feelings and share my interests. Other than that, I am nothing special.
