Opera has been re-released on Blu-ray in a three-disc limited edition set via Scorpion Releasing. It’s available exclusively at Ronin Flix for $49.99. Yannick Bouchard designed the new artwork.
It features three presentations of the film: Italian cut in 2.35:1 Super 35 asepct ratio, Italian cut in 1.78:1 aspect ratio, and the US Orion Pictures edit. The Italian cuts include English 5.1, English stereo, Italian mono with English subtitles, and Cannes English mono audio options.
The 1987 Italian giallo film is written and directed by Dario Argento (Suspiria, Deep Red). Cristina Marsillach, John Charleston, Urbano Barberini, William McNamara, Antonella Vitale, Barbara Cupisti, Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni, and Daria Nicolodi star.
This edition includes a slipcase, reversible cover art (pictured below), and a 9x11 poster for Bouchard’s art. Special features are listed below.
