Radio Blue Heart is on the air!

zooophagous:

He’s been on Patreon a couple days with no takers, so Ra is now for sale here.

The illustrious sun god is one of my more colorful pieces in the pantheon. He’s also one of the shiniest, his wings are metallic gold ink and he sports many very glittering embellishments of real gold leaf. He was very fun to make and a marked improvement over my last drawing of him, imo.

Ra is for sale for $100. He is a little more expensive than previous pieces because more work went into him, but I can also offer payment plans on him, I can do 50$ down to hold him.

workingclasshistory:

On this day, 8 May 1942, a group of African-American and white young people staged a sit-in at the segregated Jack Spratt Coffee House in Chicago – the first sit-in of the civil rights movement. The restaurant called police but they refused to remove the occupiers as they had not broken any laws. The restaurant then dropped its discriminatory policy. The occupation was organised by the Congress of Racial Equality which had been set up the previous year. an interesting development in the uber/lyft strike is how uber/lyft are offering free shit to customers. that should make you, as a customer, support the strike more, since uber/lyft are showing their hand: they can afford to give you free shit and compensate drivers and more but they don’t. Ask yourselves why they wait until now to start trying to buy your loyalty and ask yourself where the resources for this free shit were going before.
