Galgameth (aka The Adventures of Galgameth) is a 1996 remake of Pulgasari. It’s basically the same tale, this time set in Medieval Europe instead of Korea, and has a much goofier looking monster (which still grows by eating metal). Despite the kid-appeal, the movie has a charming array of characters and some fun effects.
