Photography by © (Stephen Underwood). This roar-some sequence of images shows two powerful male lions literally locked in a battle for supremacy, competing for dominance on the African plains. The short but intense fight that took place earlier this year in The Masai Mara, Kenya sees one of the lions appear to get the other in a HEADLOCK and another dynamic frame sees one of the predators tackled to the ground. Although the images show brutal scenes both of the males emerged from the confrontation largely unscathed. The Masai Mara an evocative African wildlife haven that boasts one of the world’s great concentrations of predatory big cats. #Wild #Lion #Nature #Kenya #Wildlife #Animals #Igs_Africa #MaleLions #Wildeyesa #MasaiMara #AfricanPlains

“Trump’s rage over the anonymity of the whistleblower may seem excessive, but it has its own logic. Anonymity means Trump can’t give the person an insulting nickname, can’t call him or her ugly or fat, can’t use his surrogates to smear and intimidate. He can’t make it personal. And if Trump can’t make it deeply personal somehow, his only alternative is to challenge the whistleblower’s account on its merits, on factual grounds, which Trump knows is impossible. THAT is why he’s so frustrated. His foe’s anonymity disarms him.”
