peridot especially during s2 was such a fantastic autistic icon and was one of the things su did right and ‪i’ll never forgive them for barning her and forgetting about her intelligent and logic-driven personality while still being quite socially inept, eventually leading our lovable and relatable peridot to her flanderized fate‬

look at this. having trouble talking upfront or making eye contact, stimming out of nervousness with her thumb, playing her apology back on her comfort object, still asserting her points she finds no problem with because theyre logical and make sense to her but she says she never intended to upset anyone, acknowledges shes still learning and wants to understand how to make the right social choices even if its hard for her and apologizes
