OMFG!
About an hour ago, a truck parked in the alley right behind our garage caught fire. There were several explosions. Our garage & trees are fine, and it looks like the fence belonging to the house behind us is also okay. Heard a couple booms, after hearing someone driving around like a looney, got up & saw flames and smoke out the dining room window. I yelled and ran to the kitchen, looked out the window there & freaked TF out. I grabbed the phone & rang 911. A very nice lady took my call. Dean and Mom both came back downstairs and we went out on the back porch. St Antoine came out onto his mini 2nd floor porch next door & told us he’d also called 911. We were out there only a few minutes before the firemen came. Big white clouds of smoke, eventually turning black, were fortunately going straight up, altho I can occ'lly smell icky things. We eventually went out to the garage, opened the door and watched them spraying a firehose on the interior, which really did not want to stop smoking like mad. Mom got squirted a little, so we all laughed and went back inside. Freaky AF!
Divers stumble upon giant squid egg in Norway. It’s a giant jelly blob with about 200,000 squid eggs inside.It’s a really rare sighting. The divers were swimming out to an old sunken ship in the fjord of Ørsta (nearby city), when they found this blob. The squid (illex coindetii) that popped this out is only maximum 40 cm (15.7 inches) long, but this jelly blob is about 1 meter (3.2 feet) in diameter! Via eplejuice
