Florida is hiding deaths. Nebraska is censoring reporting. There is a whole bunch of billionaires that are throwing fits at the prospect of not having record breaking profits this year, and they are throwing millions of dollars into dangerous schemes to convince the people of the US of a fantasy that is terrifying and horrifying.
Most of the large scale packing plants and sundry that have been the sites of massive outbreaks are now concealing all positive cases (assuming they are even bothering to test) until the number of cases tops 10%. Which of course means by the time they report, it could be more than 30%
Oh of course they are.

if you went to public school in the US, were you ever in a classroom that could accommodate 6 square feet of space between each student?
reminiscing fondly about my high school where they had collapsible gates that came down from the ceiling, which were used as a punitive measure to “prevent fighting” and turned every passing period into a potential human stampede situation. i’d love to get coughed on in one of those right now.
half the time in school we didn’t even have desks, we had tables. how could this possibly work? hire thousands of more teachers and reduce class sizes to 10?? they’ve been resisting that for years.
