Cruel Jaws will be released on Blu-ray on September 29 via Severin Films. For one week only, Severin is selling it with an exclusive slipcover featuring its alternate title, Jaws 5 (pictured below), for $30.
Severin has also published the official novelization of the film, written by Brad Carter. It’s available on its own for $15 or in a bundle with the Blu-ray and slipcover for $42.
The 1995 Italian Jaws knock-off is directed by Bruno Mattei (Hell of the Living Dead). It uses unlicensed footage from the Jaws films as well as Deep Blood (1989) and The Last Shark (1981).
Mattei wrote the script with Linda Morrison and Robert Feen. David Luther, George Barnes, Jr., Scott Silveria, Kristen Urso, and Richard Dew star.
Cruel Jaws has been remastered uncut in high definition. The Japanese extended cut is also included. Special features are listed below.
