yes actually, with a stipulation- only MALE camels and their relatives have fangs!
these fangs are often referred to as “fighting teeth” because the males use them to bite the ABSOLUTE SHIT out of each other during the breeding season, and while they’re definitely the most exaggerated and terrifying in true camels, camel relatives like alpacas and llamas also have them!
which. if you didn’t know that male llamas seasonally attempt to murder each other with their giant evil fangs, now you do!
male horses also have fighting teeth, though theirs are a lot blunter and placed further back in the mouth.
so tldr a fair amount of male ungulates actually do have giant fangs for the specific purpose of beating the shit out of each other a few times a year and impressing the ladies!
I mean considering that other ungulates like Pigs and Elephants have tusks, this shouldn’t be much of a surprise AND YET I WAS UNPREPARED.
