To get a better understanding of the coyote, I felt I needed to dive more into their history. This included finding different interpretations of the animal through the years. All of these items date from about 1910 until the early 2000s, basically the high point of coyote eradication until the beginnings of recent coyote studies. I wanted to find things that showed the polarized views people have had towards coyotes over the years, the good, the bad, the scientific, and the spiritual. I haven’t felt like taking pics so these are just seller images for my own log.
