I found the “official” MELVINS '85 demo (Dale’s mom not included!) listed on Discogs:
$360.00 seems a little pricey. I mean, given the complete lack of cover art & the handwritten liner notes. But more importantly: all of these recordings are readily available with much better sound quality as official releases on their IPECAC label. Still pretty cool to look at, tho.

Yeah it’s a real mystery who might have dumped and set alight a bunch of documents in the dumpster behind the offices of the indicted Attorney General who was just served a subpoena by the legislature. Hope we can solve this one folks!
