I love the idea that Superman has the power and authority to do whatever he likes without any accountability, but when it comes to politics he has to just march and hold a sign. You make decisions on behalf of the public without asking them every single day, simply blowing up oil infrastructure with your laser vision would not be any more anti-democratic than what you’re already doing
