In 1979 the Asociación de Niños Sandinistas (Association of Sandinista Children) “Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores” created the poster entitled “Felicidades Mamá: Gracias Madre por Defender Nuestra Alegría” (Congratulations Mom: Thank you for protecting our happiness), congratulating mothers on their participation in the Nicaraguan Revolution.
