Silim! I think I’ve mentioned it before, but I cannot recommend enough the article on writing your own cuneiform from the CDLI. It explains the process of cuneiform writing and how to write using clay and either a reed stylus or a chopstick (my preferred method). If anybody uses this method to write in Sumerian cuneiform (or another cuneiform language), definitely @ me or submit a photo!

Sightings of humanoid owls have been reported for decades if not longer. One particular sighting which was widely publicized was that of the the Owlman of Mawnan which was seen in the 1970s in the Cornish town of Mawnan in the UK. Two little girls reported seeing the creature flying around the tower of St. Mawnan and St Stephen’s Church. Their father was apparently so spooked by the encounter that he packed the family up and cut their vacation short.
